Airos
+receptive, diplomatic, reassuring, easygoing /-conflict avoidant, indecisive, complacent Many of the towns are built around geothermally heated lake openings. Buildings are typically simple wooden structures raised off the ground with tiled roofs. Here they maintain peace by appeasing the dual gods. Sinshiari, the volcano and god of anger and force, helps deflect destruction and chaos. Tarena, the goddess of peace and nature, exists as the natural world does - with no desires or agenda. With so much focus on this balance, citizens have fallen asleep to basic needs and world events.
Faustran
Work towards perfection. +principled, organized, purposeful, self-controlled /-perfectionistic, critical, opinionated A utopian society striving for balance and perfection. Underneath it lies a magical corruption that distorts both reality and life within the country. The rich have found ways of routinely purging themselves. Those without means find less sanctioned ways and further suffer with the dissonance.
Tusland
+generous, supportive, friendly, motivating/-overextending, indirect, angry if unappreciated A quirky set of towns built upon southern hospitality and a circular grid of streets with a giant dugout pit in the center. The dugout is covered by an adjustable magical dome that stores food for lavish festivals. The pride and vanity stemming from the recognition is almost intoxicating for citizens and they work to exhaustion to prepare for the next event.
Lucresh
+entrepreneurial, excelling, driven, energetic /-image-conscious, competitive, workaholic A highly competitive steampunk-style city with propaganda and citizen rankings displayed. It’s common for citizens to mechanically augment themselves to reach peak states of productivity and achievement. How far will they go to reach peak performance? Some say that their very human essence is being sacrificed for an extra bit of prestige… or admiration.
Qiqoa
+expressive, introspective, inspiring, creative /-dramatic, self-absorbed, suffering Several small bands of “lost ones” separated from most of the world hundreds of years ago and ventured to the Broken Isles. Many here are constantly searching for a way to fix their flaws and redeem themselves in the eyes of the maker so they can be forgiven. Some gave up the search and fall deeper into grief and envy.
Neocoris
+perceptive, objective, private, analytical /-detached, guarded, flat A magi-technologically advanced society with a minimalist approach to life and material wealth. The comforts and convenience of technology has led many citizens to interact mainly through using their mind to conjure guided illusions - abandoning their body and slowly disappearing into madness.
Xiphoa
+collaborative, loyal, prepared, responsible /-anxious, suspicious, worried A city in perpetual night haunted by whispering horrors where fear and paranoia run rampant. With a long history of being betrayed and being on the wrong side of chaos, their faith in the systems meant to protect them has all but crumbled. Many are constantly pulled between the desire to be a courageous leader and the anxiety of facing uncertainty and hostility of the world.
Ibia
+spontaneous, fun, optimistic, energetic /-impulsive, scattered, pain avoidant A resort city overflowing with excitement, entertainment, lights, gambling, and the freedom to turn grandiose visions into reality. Life here is fast-paced. People here want to have fun, adventure, and not worry about the past when there’s such an exciting future ahead of them. Potion addiction and lack of focus are crumbling the foundation of the city.
Krohazul
+self-directed, decisive, protective, strategic /-controlling, demanding, confrontational An tough kingdom with castles, manors, and farms that relies on the strength of its citizens to protect itself and their loved ones. From youth, they learn they must be strong and meet conflict head-on rather than submit. This belief permeates society and culture – so much so that foreigners rarely get through the initiation rituals.
Vleros
Once a place of religious world heritage, now the main stronghold for the World Government. They say they’re protecting it from outlaws and corruption.
